Law enforcement will be out this holiday weekend patrolling for illegal fireworks and open container violation specifically, according to a press release issued by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff on June 30, 2014.  Several road closures will take place on July 4th as well. This is traditionally a weekend that see's a high number of DUI arrests, it is really one of the worst weekends that an individual can decide to drive with any trace of alcohol in their system. Be safe and have a Happy 4th of July.
